Playlist

Until When our singer has WORKED WITH MAKING A drum pattern Voice 'real drum'

What is the pattern? If the Indonesian translate into meaningful patterns and we have made a drum pattern with the title "Pattern 1." The title of a pattern can be seen at the top of the 'channel window'.





The next step to create a song, we must incorporate the pattern into the area called Playlist. Playlist layout is described in the following figure:

Playlist useful to unify each part that we have made in the form of pattern. We've created a pattern containing a drum pattern with the title "Pattern 1." We can make many kinds of pattern with different instruments. That is, there is no limit on how much the pattern that we make. For example, we can create a pattern 2, pattern 3 pattern 4 and so on.

Light Blue: Tools

Tools useful to draw a pattern, remove the pattern, cutting and various other uses.

Now let us enter "Pattern 1" in the Playlist. The trick, activate the "Pattern 1" in the playlist by clicking the "Pattern clip sources," that I put a piece of yellow in Figure 8. After-click drop down menu will appear with the name of the pattern that we have created. Because we only make a pattern, which appears in the drop down just the "Pattern 1."

Once we activate the "Pattern 1" let us draw on the Playlist in the "Track 1." How to mouse over the blue area in Figure 8, the mouse cursor will turn into a brush and click. Please follow up to be like the example shown in Figure 9.




To facilitate resistant click at the end of the playlist and drag to the right to draw it (right click to remove). Now try to press "Play" to play. (According to Figure 9, I draw four boxes, which means the pattern will repeat four times if we 'play')

Select 'Song' and trying to 'play,' surely now you've seen the arrows walking on Playlist. We have succeeded in inserting a pattern / pattern into the Playlist. You can describe a pattern by an infinite length in the Playlist, which means you are free to make a song with any long duration.

Shortly after you click the (+) will appear a form where we can type the name of the desired pattern. I will give the name "Drum 2" in this second pattern. You can give a name at will. After OK, press 'Enter'.

If it is correct, 'step sequencer' that had been occupied by 'Pattern 1' will return empty. Where did 'Pattern 1'? Quiet, 'Pattern 1' you just hide because we have opened 'Pattern 2'. Please fill in the 'step sequencer' as the steps described in the explanation Channel Window & Step Sequencer. Below is a picture of the pattern of "Drum 2" made in me, please follow.

  
 
Note:

         When you want to create a new pattern do not forget to return the "Song mode" to "Pat Mode" so that we can listen to the game that we will create in this new pattern, if not changed we only hear the game Playlist.

         To re-display the "pattern 1" if we want to edit in next time, I click the "name pattern" (a light green color on Gambar11) so it will show a drop down menu that displays a list of pattern we have made. Inside the menu, we can also change the name / rename pattern that has been made.


Once finished, let us enter "Drum 2" into the "Playlist." Just a reminder, do not forget to replace the 'Pattern clip sources' into the name pattern that is only now we want to draw into the Playlist, in this case is a pattern named "Drum 2" , If so, the picture will look like the following.




In the My Playlist adds four boxes pattern "Drum 2" next to "Pattern 1." If it had been drawing as it tried to listen to the result by playing the playlist. If it is correct we will hear the change in the pattern of "Pattern 1" to "Drum 2" according to what we are describing.

If you play according Figure 14 above, you'll hear the sound of drums are piled (Voice Drum "Pattern 1" to "Drum 2"). With Figure 14, I wanted to show that we are free to put the pattern-pattern that has been made up to be a song that really we expected.
On the left side playlist, you'll see a "Track", uses only as identity / marker pattern what we have filled in the "Track" is. Additionally, it will help to make the project a song we become more neat and easily identifiable.
My suggestion, use the "Track" as a separator of each pattern drum or other instrument pattern. Each "track" can we rename it in accordance with the existing instruments in line "track" is, how to right click on the "track" that you want to rename, and will show up option and select "rename / color".

Browser is the area marked in red color and shortcuts show / hide green.Then what is the function of this browser? As with Windows Explorer on your computer, browser FL Studio serves to accommodate all the data FL Studio like sounds of instruments, effects presets, project files etc. My discussion this time will only describe the sounds of instruments eksplor native FL Studio web browser.FL Studio has provided many voices that we can use, such as the sound of drums, guitar, bass, string ensemble and many more. The voices are usually called sample, a piece of the original instrument sound recordings. To create an instrument that has a tone there own way and will be discussed in the next tutorial.Back to the browser, let's try to open the folder 'Packs' and see no instruments drums anything in it. Layout folder "Packs" I gave the color "blue".Once we click on the folder 'Packs' will open folders child with each title. You simply open the folder 'Drum Kit 01', in which there are some samples that we can hear by clicking. Please click these samples to listen to his voice. (Sample file with the icon color is yellow as in Figure 6).




To be perfectly audible sound of the instrument, it is recommended to use speakers / earphones with wide frequency (30 Hz - 15K Hz). Please open the article Making Songs for Beginners with Sofware Fruityloops to see what is needed in order to follow this tutorial well.After the voice sounded just try all the sounds in the folder 'Drum Kit 01'. As you listen, the samples that are real drum samples, although in my opinion the sound quality is not good. Folder Hi Hats> select a sample called "FPC_ClHH_GSab_002" by hold-click + drag toward the    channel with the inscription Hat on 'channel window'.Folder Kick Drums> select sample "FPC_Kick_GiReal_003" by hold-click + drag toward the channel with the words Kick on the 'channel window'.Folder Snare Drums> select "FPC_Snr_2lI04" by hold-click + drag toward the channel with Snare written on 'channel window'.

After inserting the sample into the 'channel window' please change the first name of each channel as instruction in Video 1. Rename 'channel' will help us in identifying the sample that we have entered, otherwise it will create a neat project this song.

Now try to 'play' after we change the voice. There is something strange? I think the sound of "Hat" is too large, simply turn the knob using "channel volume" next to "Channel Hat" to 50%. (Illustrations shrink 'channel volume' can be seen in Video 1)

CHANNEL WINDOW & STEP SEQUENCER

As usual I will show where the Channel window & Step sequencer with pictures accompanied by the components that are important to note.





Areas in red are Channel window & Step sequencer and light green are shortcut show / hide. In it contains the components described below:

    
Purple: Channel


In Figure 2 look 4 pieces 'channel' is installed (the default channel when you first install and open    FL Studio) in the 'channel window' each bearing Kick, Clap, Hat and Snare. Yes, that is the names of drum instruments, which means, the channel is of shelter of the instruments in which channel work that the voices of instruments that go into it we can hear and play.

Light Blue: Step Sequencer

in FL Studio. In the 'tool bar' area contains an assortment of useful as a 
navigation panel to operate FL Studio. To make it easier I described using the

    The main menu to save the project, options, view, copy, paste etc.

    Main volume serves as a regulator of the amount of noise globally.
 
    Orange: Time panel
    Shows the track project time.
 
    Dark Blue: Transport panel
    Function to run track (play), stop the song (stop), record (record).
 
    Light Blue: Song tempo & Pattern selector
    Song tempo controls the speed of a song. In FL Studio we can set the tempo 
    from 10 bps (beats per second) to 999 bps. Timing depends on what kind of 
    track we will create. Pattern will be discussed in the following explanation.
 
    Purple: Metronome
    Function produces a sound as the beat of the song that is useful for guidance 
    in making the song, especially the beat of drums, drum variations etc. The 
    metronome sound speed in accordance with the tempo we set.
 
 
For a while it used to know before touching other panels which I will discuss in 
the next tutorial. Because this tutorial Part 1 discusses the basic manufacture of 
drums, I'll explain a little bit how the 'Song tempo' (light blue) and 'Metronome' 
(purple).
 
To try the test at the same metronome sound, please click the 'play' and note the
